GeMSignal ("we", "us", "our") is a pre-launch service that helps Indian MSMEs and government contractors receive real-time alerts for matching tenders on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. Our website is gemportal.site.

GeMSignal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the Government of India or gem.gov.in.

2. Information We Collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect the following information:

• Email address— Required. Used to notify you when GeMSignal launches and to send you tender alerts once the service is live.
• WhatsApp number— Optional. If provided, used to send you tender alerts via WhatsApp once the service is live. Providing a phone number is entirely voluntary.

We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide exclusively for the following purposes:

• To notify you when GeMSignal launches
• To send you early access information and any pre-launch updates
• To send you matching GeM portal tender alerts via email (and WhatsApp, if you opt in) after launch
• To respond to any contact or support requests you send us

We will never use your information for unsolicited marketing unrelated to GeMSignal, and we will never sell your contact details to any third party.

4. How We Store Your Data

Your waitlist information is stored securely in Supabase, a cloud database service. We take reasonable technical precautions to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data is stored on servers within secured data centers.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• With service providers necessary to operate GeMSignal (e.g., database provider, email delivery service) who are bound by data processing agreements
• If required to do so by applicable law, court order, or government authority

6. Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses Vercel Analytics to understand general site traffic patterns (page views, referral sources). This is anonymous and does not personally identify you. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data from our waitlist at any time
• Opt out of communications at any time by contacting us

8. Children's Privacy

GeMSignal is intended for use by businesses and adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify waitlist members via email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
